Whether you are new to the Christian journey or looking to go deeper in your walk with Christ, there are many opportunities for adults to begin or deepen their spiritual journeys at St. Columba's.
A good first place to begin is with the Rector's Forum on Sunday morning. This class which is led by Father Tripp Norris covers a variety of seasonal and topical themes. The class meets weekly in the narthex from 10:10 - 11:00 am (note the class suspends on 3rd Sundays to allow room for our monthly all-parish breakfast).
Mid-week opportunities are places where you can go deeper into your journey and strengthen your relationship with God and learn more about the Bible and the tradition and heritage of our Church. Each Thursday, a mid week Bible study is held every from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. During Lent, a special series on Wednesday evenings will follow Stations of the Cross that begins at 6:30 pm and a light supper is also served.
In addition to our weekly classes, seasonal workshops, retreats and events are offered and provide opportunites to explore our Christian vocations, helping us discern what God is calling us to do and how to use our various gifts and talents in our witnesses to the Gospel. Retreats and special events will be offered througout the year and details will be posted on that section of our website under "Adult Formation > Retreats and Workshops" as well as "Adult Formation > Seasonal Events"
