Parent’s Morning Out Preschool Program, “Wonderland”
Things are in full swing, gearing up for St. Columba’s Wonderland’s first year. We are excited about the response we have had so far. We are currently interviewing candidates for teachers and will be transforming the nursery and treasurer’s office into Wonderland.
The program will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow spiritually, socially, and intellectually. The curriculum will include basics such as colors, numbers, letters, shapes, and phonics as well as indoor and outdoor playtime, snack time, music, story time and special events such as planned visit from the local fire trucks. Out goal is to lovingly and affectionately teach children important skills such as sharing and taking turns. The objective of the program is to teach all of these skills through a balance of self guided exploration and teacher guided instruction.
The Preschool and Morning Out Program will offer classes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for children ages 1—3, as of September 1st. You can choose between one, two, or three days. Discounts on tuition and registration are available for active members in good standing.
