YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our classes are divided into six groups. The three and four year olds meet in the front room across from the nursery. The Kindergarteners and 1st Graders are together in the first cottage, on the left side, while our 2nd and 3rd Graders meet on the right side of the same cottage. The 4th and 5th Graders join together in the 2nd cottage on the right side, and the Junior High (6th, 7th, 8th Grades) and Senior High (9th – 12th) groups meet in the third (rear) cottage. All rooms will be marked.
Our curriculum again this year for the younger children is the “All Things New” curriculum, designed for Episcopal churches and covering the big stories of the Bible. The Junior High class is using “Living the Good News”, a curriculum which follows the lectionary readings that are used in Mass each Sunday, and the Senior High group will be learning about different aspects of life in the church with a program designed by the Senior High teachers.
Again, this is yet another exciting year for our children in the Sunday School program. Last year we had approximately 150 children in our Sunday School program, and we expect to have a big year again this year. Many of our teachers are returning this year— Melissa Bernardino, Jennifer Davenport, Lorraine Ferguson, Mari-Beth Gagnon, Michael Gagnon, Kimberly Harvey, Dale Humphries, Wendy Martin, Linda Reid, Elizabeth Ricketson, Janice Rousseau, Betsy Skalet, Jason Startt, and Lauree Watkins - and we also welcome Patty Hunnewell, Kim Massie, Bill Parkinson and Kristen Weems to our teaching roster.
We appreciate the time and efforts of our teachers and look forward to another successful year. If you have any questions concerning our Sunday School programs, please contact Fr. Joe for further information.
