Lectio Divina 3rd Wednesdays, 7:00 pm in the Nursery
This Fall, we’ll begin a Lectio Divina group, a centuries-old form of Scriptural meditation. We will listen to a passage of scripture several times, rest in it, share words and phrases that speak to us from it, and briefly explore what it calls us each to do. This is not a Bible study in a formal way; rather, it is contemplative, prayerful, and insightful way to discover Scripture anew. The spiritual group will meet at 7:00 in 2nd/3rd grade cottage on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, however the class will begin on September 26 and then resume a 3rd Wednesday meeting schedule. The group will be facilitated by Alicia Allen.
