Praying By Heart:Silence, Adoration, & the Life of Prayer

Enter more deeply into the mystery of Advent as we spend a morning exploring Advent’s themes of silence, adoration, and a life of prayer as invitations from God that transform the heart and the world. Waiting in stillness in Holy Scripture, beholding the One for whom we long, and prayer that becomes love made visible in the world: these are those parts of Advent that prepare our hearts to celebrate the joy of the Bethlehem manger and the hope of God with us even now.
This retreat is jointly offered by St Columba’s, Christ Church in Kennesaw, and Church of the Our Saviour in Atlanta. Father Ben Day (Christ Church) and Mother Melanie Rowell (Our Saviour) will join Father Tripp in leading the morning’s retreat.
We ask for $10 donation as you register to cover the cost of the luncheon.
