Regina Coeli

Eastertide brings a change in the traditional prayer offered at the conclusion of the Daily Office. Instead of the Angelus, which focuses on the Incarnation of Jesus, The Regina Coeli is prayed, which focuses on the joy of the Resurrection. This traditional prayer will be the backdrop of our Eastertide study. In St Mary and the other key figures of the post-Easter stories of Jesus’ resurrection, we’ll discuss how our becoming disciples, our saying “yes” to God bring about our spiritual growth and how our faith presents a freedom of the soul that comes from a devotion to and adoration of God. Join us each Wednesday and discover the fullness of what it means for us to exclaim, “The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia.”
