Worship With Us!

“An ancient faith for a modern world.”

Worship with us each week! Our parish life is centered around our worship together. We have a number of liturgies, each with its distinct style. Sundays mornings and during the week, there are worship opportunities that will help you grow in faith and experience the love of God. (Click on the down arrow for details of each service below)

Sundays

  • Said Mass with hymns. “Low Mass” as it is described because it has simplified ceremonial, no choir, and no incense. The liturgy is most popular with families with younger children as it precedes Sunday school (held at 9.45 am during the school year).

  • A fully sung liturgy with St Columba choir, hymns, and incense. This is often called “high Mass” because of its fun ceremonial ritual. This liturgy lasts an hour.

Weekdays (September - May)

  • Mass & Stations of the Cross. During Lent our Wednesday program changes to begin with Low Mass, which is followed by Stations of the Cross.

  • (Our Wednesday evening programs have wrapped up for the academic year and will resume in September)

Compline. This is the last of the daily offices from the monastic tradition and is often called the nighttime prayer of the church. During Lent Compline is sung by our clergy and cantors. (September-May)

  • A special offering during Lent. We walk together the stations of the cross, a liturgy focusing on the significant moments of Jesus’ Passion. Weather permitting, we use our outdoor stations and a liturgy we have adapted from The Anglican Shrine of the Or Lady of Walsingham. (Wednesdays in Lent, 6.40 pm)
